Is there any non-stressful way to move a chameleon?

zag May 14, 2004 01:42 AM

I am going out of town for a week and was wondering if there was any good way of getting my month old ambanja's from point A to point B? I don't want to leave them in the care of someone that doesn't know much about reptiles, but I hate to expose them to any un-needed stress - it would stress me out worrying about them for a week. I am going about 4 hours away and was wondering if I traveled at night if there was any chance of them just sleeping through it? Any suggestions?

He would almost certainly sleep through it. Just throw a towel over the cage so he can't see out. He'll be fine.
