My Jacksons cham has been keeping one eye shut most of the time for several weeks. He is well hydrated and eats very well. He will open the eye for periods of time to eat, or when put in the sun. When he does open the eye he will keep it open for up to 30 seconds before he will start to blink the eye. I have been misting his eyes with warm water daily and he has done the whole out of socket cleaning process but it has not seemed to help. There is no puss or swelling or anything. When the eye is open it looks the same as his good eye, but I know something is bothering him by the way he blinks it and prefers to have it shut most of the time.
