We had a 22' Burm on River road two years ago. Someone hit it with their car at night and thought they ran over a telephone pole. The animal was huge! and they are a weekly sighting out here. I know that it is harmful to the enviroment, but damn its cool to see one of them in the swamp. We also have Monitors, iguanas of several kinds and a bunch or other things out there! I love the swamp!
