Guess what I found last night when I got home?
My first female finally laid eggs. It was her first time and she layed 11 eggs and 0 slugs all stuck together in a clump. They looked a little dented since she didn't bury them at all and they were a little dry. I put them in a Sterlite box (with lid on) in moist Pearlite inside my incubator with a damp papertowel on top on the eggs. When should I check it so I don't end up with moldy eggs? I am trying to resist getting in there every five minutes and drying it out too much but I'm also worried it's too damp.
Also my other snake shed first and still isn't showing any signs of 'nesting' however she definately looks gravid. How long do I wait before I take her to a vet? She laid about 6 eggs last year for the breeder I got her from with no problems.
