UVA/UVB bulbs..

thelizardking77 May 14, 2004 04:34 PM

Has anyone used the Zoo-MED uva/uvb in 1 bulb, I think its called the powersun, or something like that?? Hate spending $$ on a tube UVB, then a spot uva, but didnt know how decent they worked with the all in one.. Thanks

If you use a "powersun" type bulb the main problem is lots of heat and danger of explosions if you get even a bit of spray on them. They can be tempermental. If you use the ReptiSun you don't need a separate UVA...the tube also produces UVA. All you need is a regular house light bulb for added heat.
