OT: Can I feed my ball python vienna sausages?

iamjob May 14, 2004 04:50 PM

Or will she squish them...I would have to feed her like 15 but they are cheap.

I'd heat them up in the oven, not the microwave, because of radiation or whatever.

I would say it would be ok, it's very healthy. I don't know about you guys but if Steve Irwin would have figured this out a long time ago, he could market it and make millions.

Thanks,

Chris

You're probably going to catch some flack for this but anyway:
I dont think its a good idea. Those things are just made up of leftover animal parts so I doubt they are actually healthy for a python to eat. Mice arent too terribly expensive so I would say to stick with mice or rats.

have you tried them?

You know what I am talking about..the little mini hot dog looking things...in that savory juice.

Just think of all the possiblities. First Vienna sausages, then Bologna Logs, then on to steaks and maybe even salads.

Might be a long shot.

I haven't fed my Ball Python yet. Well I tried once, but the chicken was dry and it was WHITE MEAT!!! LOL.

hmmm, if all else fails rats will have to do.

Yeah I know what your'e talking about. Thats all I ate for the first 3 years of my life. My left leg is not formed completely, my ears are huge and I cant chew anything without crying like a baby. Im not saying its because of the sausages or not but I believe it is. I can only assume your'e joking, but if not I hope you make millions.lol

what does that mean? you bought a snake, knowing you wouldn't feed it properly? why? there is NO substitutions for rats/mice/quail.

I agree, if you can't handle feeding the animal what is should be eating then maybe you aren't ready to have a snake.

Don't forget an impudent little red wine to wash it all down.

that's the attitude I was looking for.

Please don't use the fine china. I did and now my ball will only eat on fine imported porcelain with beluga caviar as a starter.

She'll also take mice but it's a [bleep] getting the tuxes on 'em.

I'm just waiting for the moderators to remove this thread. It's against the TOS to slander a fine product like Viennas (or as my Grandpa used to say, "VYE-annies". P.S., if I'm ever hungering for some lips and Aholes, I know who's cubbard to raid.......
