I can't think of any off hand. I am picturing a 10 gal arboreal tank is being to narrow for any snake beyond juvenile size. Have you considered tree frogs, or maybe looking into an arboreal gecko?

yes i have looked into other animals probably some geckos but tthanks for the replies!

Actually a rough green will do nicely in a ten if you put in lots of thin branchesfor it to climb. I have caught and kept dozens that way,(being in South Florida) and they do well. daily misting is recommended.

or are they just a 'look at me' snake? I also have a 10 gallon I would like to put something in. Also do they require some kind of heat, like an UTH? Or basking lights.

Turn the Ten Gallon Tank on its shortest side. Stand it up and down on the short side screen facing out so its like a screen front glass aquarium. This enable you to have maximum hieght and minimal humidity loss since as humidty evaporates up, it will not leave as quickly. Since rough greens and a a few other choice arboreals don't need much floor space, a set up on its side is perfect. Might I also mention rough greens are easy to take care of, feed on crickets, and can be tamed with time. Now techincally they are rear fanged (mild-non-venom), but I used to raise them and thier bite is nothing, not even minor swelling in my experiences.
