I am wondering how others cool their terrariums if they stat to get too hot, what device might i use to monitor this while I'm working?
Any brand names of thermostats etc.? Or other devices?

Many people use computer fans as a means of keeping temps low. If this type of setup is too elaborate, people also just use less intense lighting for their vivariums. How hot is your viv and what are you housing?

I am using a fluorescent light fixture, and i don't think any heat is coming from that. But for a few days there my tank was getting 83.*F and I was worried the temp would slowly rise higher as the weather gets hotter for summer. I'm housing D.Auratus' juviniles. And in a smaller tank E.Tricolor froglets. Thank you for helping!
I would definitely install a fan of some sort. Another thing you can do is to turn off your lights during the peak of the day. Another thing you can do is to install a mister or fogger to kick on in the heat of the day. This will cool your terrarium ~5degrees while its running. Finally, is there water in the tank? My terrarium has a waterfall and pond so in an emergency (house gets too hot and the AC is not on), I float a bag of ice.

Yep, i keep water in a jungle pod in the terrarium, but it slowly seeps out by the end of the day. So i should have a constant water supply, even if the humidity is always high? (And there's water that has drained under the substrate in the Terra-Lite base layer.) So a mister would be good to cool down the temp., is there a device you know of that would work to turn on the mister when it gets up to a certain temp.? Thank you soooo much!!!
I am not sure if you could use a 110AC thermostat hooked to a mister. I simply have mine on a time to kick on for an hour twice a day.
