My Chameleon has this red sac coming from its anus. It just appeared about an hour ago, at first i didnt beleive my eyes.
I've never seen this before, so any and all help would be appreciated.
The sac is under the size of a dime, and it seems to be fully out but is still connected some how. The Vet is closed now, and i beleive isnt open till moday. I will check on that the first thing in the morning.
If your chameleon is male it is possible it is a prolapsed hemi-penis or it could be a prolapsed intestine either way both needs to be seen by a vet. The best thing to do until you can get in to see the vet is the some how wrap it with a sterile bandage with sterile solution to keep it moist. It may be neither of those 2 I would have to see a picture to get a better diagnosise. Hope this helps.
