I was thinking one of those more along the BRB. I had a hog but got a good offer so sold. Are brb pretty good with feeding?

All of mine have been more than eagar to feed. The only one that was ever a problem was one that did not like hair.

I would vote for an albino or anery Kenyan sand boa. But I would also have to second the vote for a male Hogg Isl. Frank

One of the rainbow boas (Brazilian, Colombian, etc.) would make a good pet boa, and don't typically reach over six feet in length. I would also say most of the sand boas would fit your requirements, they tend to stay small and most are fairly docile in my experience. A captive bred Solomon Island ground boa would be excellent IMO, but it must be captive bred as the wild caughts don't seem to tame down a great deal and I am assuming you would wish to handle it. Male Hog Island boas would also be a good choice if you like their look. I believe there are also a couple of other island locals of boas that the males stay under six feet in length. Banana boas are also another option that stays pretty small, but the price is significantly higher than those mentioned above - very cool little snakes though. Also rubber boas, though not as pretty as some other species, would meet your size requirements.

If size is your main concern, there are also a few pythons that would fit your requirements: childrens and spotted pythons as well as ball pythons come immediately to mind. I'm sure there are a number of others.

Best of luck in your search!
