Found Eggs

stefaran May 14, 2004 10:09 PM

I found a pair of unexpected eggs (i thought my female had quit laying) in her cage buried in sand. I didn't find them until about a day or so after they were layed. Both are firm and white, but they have dents from the lack of moisture. I have placed them in a moist warm area, but do ya'll think it may be too late. How dented is too dented, and if they are ok will they plum back up.

Thanks for any advice!

I candled the eggs and both had a pink bulls-eye. It is possible they could have gotten rotated a tiny little bit, but as long as the bulls-eye is on top should they still be ok, given the conditions mentioned in the previous post?

you need to mark with a black marker which side was on top so they don't roll...

They'll probably be okay... Sounds like you're seeing the beginning of veins.. just keep them incubated until they either hatch or mold.
