When your babies hatch...?

DaGeckoGuy May 15, 2004 07:46 AM

My babies hatched (only 5) when I was away last year so I never incountered this, but the first 3 of this season have hatched with yolk covered in perlite. Another one hatched this morning, eyes still closed with about 1 inch of yolk! I dont know what to do or just to wait, so I put him in a deli with moist papertowles in the incubator

Any suggestions / help?

thanks
Matthew

Hello there,

Yes, that is a good idea. Put them on paper towels and spray the paper towels with water. That will help them get rid of the perlite and yolk.
