Hi Mickey,
This is my type 2 anerythristic Female. I am posting an updated pic of her. (Pic taken 5 months ago). I bred her to an Albino male. She gave me a litter 3 years ago. All those babies were normal. (DH Snows/Blizzards)
This year I bred her to an albino as well. The Babies all came out normal, but 2 were Anerythristic. They have really nice lavender tails unlike the red tails the siblings have. Since they are a 50/50 Columbian/Mexican cross, I have found that the babies do look more Columbian then Central. The Anerythrsitic looks SWEET though. Very interesting. Unlike any I have seen, but definatly an anery. I'll post pics of her (i sexed her and she is a Female). I'll pur her next to a sibling so you can see the difference. I'm waiting for the FIRST ever Blizzard Boa too. I bred DH to DH from this Same line. She is Loaded with Babies, and is due on the 18th of this month. In this litter, I should see more Anerythristics, Albinos, and hopefully a blizzard/snow. Will it be whiter??? We shall see. I'm sure the bloodline will be nice though because this Bloodline has seemed to be VERY strong.
John Birgel (a friend and customer who bought a trio of these) had a litter a few weeks ago. He missed on the Blizzard though. He had 13 babies. The anerythristics from that breeding and the Albino were just AMAZING. I wish he'd post some pics. The anerythristics look really wild. Basically a cross between the Type 2 and the Type 1 anery. This one that popped out does look different from Johns though. We will see when they shed. I also can't wait to see them from this litter due in a few days.
I'll hopefully be able to take a blizzard (If I get a male) and breed her Back to the Grandsire. Then I'll get 3/4's Anerythrisics ALL het Albino. That will be VERY cool. I'm sure the more bred back to the CA the better the Snow.
I do have a hunch this anery line is not only Anerythristic but also axanthic. Time will tell. If that is the case, then the snow will be just what We all will dream of. A snow that doesn't yellow up. The anerythristics that came from Birgels litter look like Anerythristic/axanthic.
This original Type 2 anerythristic I have looks axanthic and anery. ONLY time will prove this though. I may be wrong.
BOY, I'm getting VERY long winded. LOL. Thanks for all the emails from everyone about the Motleys and the Anerythristic. I know I have been saying this FOREVER, but the new Site is just WEEKS away. It actually will be a Good site too. Not my cheesy site that has been up for 5 years. LOL
Take Care Mickey, How is the Store??? Hope you do very well. I have some Boas for you by the way. LOTS of them. Do you need them???? Jeremy
