I live in hurst texas and caught a very young nerodia erythrogastor... I was wondering how big they get and what to feed them at this young age...

Males can get about 2-2.5 ft. Females can get up to 4ish. They will eat any sort of fish you can toss at them, as well as possibly pinks and worms. When I get young ones, they will sometimes take all 3.
