L. s. b. moms and babies

John-C May 15, 2004 05:21 PM

Been a while since I've posted here. Really been busy with all them eggs. Here's two clown agama females showing off their babies. They both produced eight cute babies. The dark phase fem on left has one more clutch in the incubator while the right fem has two more clutches incubating ... and they're not done yet!

I know some lizards cant be in with their babies because they will try to eat them when they are that little.,

Obedience training ... "sit boo boo sit" ... LOL!
As far as having the hatchlings in with the parents, no I keep them apart. Matter of fact, prior to taking the above pic, I stuffed both moms with a boat load of supper worms so they were not only too full to move but also too full eat another bite!
