anyone on here have tips for a wife who tries to buy any and every nice looking snake she sees? We are going to the NARBC show in chicago again this year and she's gonna want one from every table.

Maybe a fun but thats probably the only solution. She loves snakes. now only question is know where to get some chains real cheap.

No ill need bigger chains than those to keep her locked up at home...LOL Although I still have those handcuffs from that crasy night in new orleans....Just kiddig...LOL

Good idea. I keep my wife chained up wearing a nice lace teddy with stilleto heels while she calls me master and..... oops, got carried away. Anyway, yes I agree.

I am just as bad as my wife when it comes to purchasing "pets". We are both animal lovers and over dinner TONIGHT she tried to hit me up for another parrot - LOL!

As far as reptiles go, we have a mutual agreement that we will NOT attend another herp show. The last herp show we decided to keep our money at home, but still managed to go to the nearest ATM machine and withdraw several hundred bucks from our credit card - pathetic!

yeah thats why Bachmans idea just might work because it doesnt take much convincing for me to get one.
BTW Good luck next season on the 66%. I think we will be purchasing some albino hets this year.

People are always saying to me "so your boyfriend lets you keep all those snakes?" I never get what they mean - as if he can stop me? He has his hobbies and I have mine and we both respect that. Besides, I don't think he minds because he gets to handle them but never has to clean up after them.

Besides, she might not see the getting tied up as a deterrant.

joking aside..actually having reptiles as our hobby has brought us closer. We finally found a hobby we both like and thats why its hard to tell her no. We enjoy working with snakes. alot of people and i mean almost everyone we know, thinks were crasy and always asks you AND your wife like snakes.Thank goodness we now know were not alone...LOL
