whitacret May 15, 2004 10:09 PM

This female is only of 2 that I am aware of. She is pictured with one of her male offpsring from several seasons ago. I have yet to prove out the trait but hope to this year. She just shed this morning and is gravid. Troy

Looks Hypo to me. Keep us all posted. I wish you the best of luck. I hope it is a hypomelanistic gene. Now, all we need are some anery Knobs, huh? You know what I am getting at.
Good Luck

WOW! Thanks for posting the pic, it looks similiar to the Applegate phase pyro pyro. From the pic the black is gone so it is hard to say hypo or not. Either way if it can be genetically duplicated you are on to something! VERY exciting keep us posted.

Those are both incredible animals Troy! Good luck on proving that out. That pair of knobs I got from you in KC is doing outstanding. I couldn't be more pleased. I am anxious to see this seasons group of hatchlings! Keep me posted!

Take care,
Jeremy

Hi troy,
To my knowledge Terry doesnt keep any knobs. Although, this for you matt, in the book milksnakes, I think it was by W. P Marra-(I cant remeber off hand) it said thwre is an albino knob, but it probally wont be available to the hobby for awhile. But I posted a question about it 2 years ago on this forum and got ne response except to ask walt Deptula-(which i have e-mailed numerous times for knobs and other snakes he had I was interested in, but never got a response, oh well) so if there was an albino knob then its not spoken of-(atleast to my knowledge) but i hope they all show up someday.
