this is my first time ever hatching snakes. there seems to be a lot of albinos. the mom was norm and the dad was albino

you said the mom was norm andthe dad albino. Well i may be wrong but if there are a lot of albino then the mom may very likely be het for albino.

The mom has to be het for albino, not just likely het for albino.
There is no way to get albinos from a normal x albino pairing if the normal isn't het for albino.
