Feeding Question

ballsy May 16, 2004 08:48 AM

Ok, little background - My ball python is almost a year old now (got him last summer) and I have been feeding him a rat every week. He is now reaching 30-40 inches and I have read that now is a good time to push feeding back every 3-4 weeks. He is an agressive feeder and doesn't waste time gobbling down his food. I was wondering if now is a good time to push the feeding back and how do I do it? Should I just start to feed every 3-4 weeks or slowly get him into that routine? After about a week of non-feeding he seems to target anything that moves outside his cage. Thanx in advance for any help
