Malayan box turtle.
It has extensive shell rot. You'll probably want to visit the box turtle forum and see the folks there. These box turtles are very aquatic, but also need space to get on land and wander and dry out completely. Without it, shell rot develops.
yeah that's cuora amboinensis.... not sure about locality or subspecies, their taxonomy is confusing, but they can be treated the same in captivity. It is a box turtle but with far more aqiuatic than american box turtles.
It will need a LARGE tank or pen which has a large water area. the best arrangement is probbaly a pen with at least 12 square feet of space and which contains a pond (make from cement mixing tubs or a small preform garden pond) You will want lots of swimming/water-walking space but you don't want the water to be deeper than 5 or 6 inches.
Plant the cage heavily so as to keep humidity high and provide lots of cover. But the animal will bask so a warm dry spot is essential.
You will want to get it eating aqautic plants. It will readily take earthworms and some fruit. It will probably also eat fish but it is not thought that they comprise a large part of their natural diet.
As for the shell rot i'd begin with baths of a betadine or novalsan solution and slowly scrub the effected areas. Giving it access to a dry area (in its cage)will help but i wouldn't start dry docking it until after it is comfortable in its new home.
these are amazingly smart and responsive animals when they are healthy. they are alert, and can learn quite a bit. A really great species. You should have fun with this one.
