I have read past posts on this subject, so I am positive that is what I am dealing with. I have been lucky since I took to keeping snakes, as I have never had a problem with any of them.....until now, my dumerils has an RI. I returned him to his cage, and called my local herp shop. They said crank up the temps for a couple weeks and see if that clears it up. From doing the research that seems to be a good course of action, but I also read a lot about some antibiotics usage to help clear up the infection. Is an increase in temps enough to clear it up? Or should I begin my hunt for a local herp vet to assist? Thanks for any advice. And if anyone lives in Columbus OH, and knows a good herp vet could ya let me know.
