Silk Worms

micky-kennie May 16, 2004 06:02 PM

I'm gonna get some silkworms from Mulberry farms, and wanted some opinions on what size is the best to get. Is it better to get eggs or newly hatched worms? I have two mulberry trees, so I've been waiting until summer to get the worms so that I wouldn't have to buy the chow! Thanks for everyones opinion!

It's more cost effective to get the eggs and raise them up yourself. However, if you've never done eggs before, you might have better result buying the worms.

If you have any specific questions, please feel free to ask.
