i have a baby veiled chameleon and when i spryed him today he closed his eyes and ran around...he fell from the top of the tree and every time i put him up there he would run straight off the branch..i cuaght him every time though.

the only thing he can climb in screen which i put him on till he opens his eyes agian

it seemed like he wasn't able to use his tail and his eyes were closed tight so he jsut stretch out his legs and ran where ever he could.

normal or a serious matter

he still hasn't opend his eyes for more than a few second and its been about 5 minutes

My chameleon runs to the bottom of the branches or hides in dense spots where the water doesnt go and she will sometimes close her eyes but not for long periods of time but im sure the chameleon will get over it.

You might want to use filtered or distilled water. Also make sure your sprayer has ONLY been used to spray water. Might want to clean it out really well. Use hot water in the sprayer so it will come out warm-cool, not cold. He was probably just really scared and trying to get away how ever he could. I wouldn't worry too much.

try "bumping" the sprayer handle rather than shooting a big mist....tap the handle with a few fingers so drops of water come out rather than a blinding, high pressure mist..he's young and he'll adjust...probably the combo of your hand, the bottle, and the mist are spooking him a bit
