TK2 do you know of a care sheet for them? I'm looking for a tame monitor thats between 2-3 feet, and a sand monitor looks like one possibility.

Thanks

their own personal preferences and oppinions. Every monitor is an individual with the potential to be docile or fierce. Its really a roll of the dice. Some have said that a the v. salvadorii shouldnt be kept in captivity while i have seen them as very docile when kept by experienced keepers. Others have said that the Savannah monitor is the best first monitor to aquire and has the best temperment yet i have personally owned a monster. So there is really no correct or incorrect answer to your question.
