How much calcium and vitamins should I use

kevinR May 16, 2004 07:54 PM

I am feeding my BD juvanile Rep Cal, lots of mixed greens, and Superworms (dusted with calcium). The Rep Cal is supposed to be a complete diet. I have still been dusting the veggies every other day with a pinch of Rep Cal, and giving a pinch of Rep Cal vitamins weekly. I have been reading though about giving too much calcium. Any ideas on how much is enough/too much?

First thing's first. Make sure superworms are for treats only and not used as a staple food. With a juvie I believe it should be 3-5 times a week dusted calcium and vitamins once a week. Use this method and you shouldn't have any problems with too much calcium.

Good luck!
