Nerodia sipedon pleuralis

SnakesAndStuff May 16, 2004 08:42 PM

Here is a pretty neonate Nerodia sipedon pleuaralis that I caught recently about 300-400 meters away from water, on a hilltop glade, under the same rock as a scorpion... pretty snake at any rate. (found it in north central Arkansas)

Its a zig-zag huh? Nice snake. I'm raising a couple of nicely colored sipedon just out of curiosity. In some ways its too bad there is so much "market force" and not enough curiosity force
