Here's the new rack I built today. I used 6 qt and 32 qt Sterilite tubs for the design along with 3/4" melamine shelving and pegboard for the back. It is approximatley 4'x4'x16". It will be used to house hatchlings, yearlings and juveniles. The only thing I have left to do is install the heat tape. Which leads me to the questions...

What size heat tape should I use? I'm planning on running the heat tape vertical down the back of the rack. I was debating on what size to use so that I heat all the tubs pretty evenly. I thought about doing 4 columns of 11-inch but I was thinking this may overheat the tubs. So then I was thinking about going to 4 or 6 columns of 4-inch flexwatt. On my "eating machine" racks I have 11-inch tape running down the back and it works perfectly. But thise new rack....Not sure???

Anyone have advice or suggestions??? Chris I figured you would have a answer for me...so please fire away.

Thanks for any and all advice!!
