Worlds First White Motley Produced!!!!!

chris nicholas May 16, 2004 10:58 PM

First off congrats to everyone on a great boa season so far. Today I have been blessed with the worlds first white motley. This could be the worlds first albino or sunglow motley, I am really not sure yet (Sorry). I will post pics and tell you the whole story later, right now I am soo pumped its hard to type!

....able to easily tell whether the motley is a albino or sunglow albino motley. If it is a sunglow motley it will probably have some aberrancies or striping from the salmon influence which 'throws' the motley pattern 'off'and it will be much 'cleaner' than a albino. I could easily tell the difference in my recent sunglow litter. Anyway, congrats again and post pics soon!!

Sorrrryyyyyy for the lack of pics I have been trying to get a camera to download the pics......but nothing. I believe the "white" motley is actually the first sunglow motley. After talking with a few people and comparing it to already shed and fed albinos it looks more like a sunglow than an albino. So with that thanks! New camera I promise Here is a picture of the father of the litter.

I have recieved MANY emails about this. I think I'll let Chris tell the story. LOL. YES, HE HAD A MOTLEY THAT WAS A HET. That is the ONLY way that can be produced. I'm sure you're excited. It will be interesting to see if it is a Sunglow. All Salmon Motleys so far have been Whacky and abberant. Sunglows also usually are abberant. Also, the Salmon Motleys have NO side stripes. Wierd if the Sunglow Skips a Generation because of the albino gene. MAYBE.. You never know with these Crazy genes. MAJOR CONGRATS.... Jeremy
