I try to spend some time with each of my animals, including my Savannah, Burm, BT, Dumerils and a few others at least every other day but gets difficult becuase of having so many. My BT, tyson, does get attention on most each day but is still one hell of a firecracker! Thanks in advance

What I mean is she would burn off her food, then I would feed her more. At around 3 ft long (4.5 months old) she was eating a mix of hissers, mice, chicken peeps, some crickets yet, and once every few weeks a piece of meat (turkey, chicken etc) with calcium and vitamin supplement. She ate from the time I got her one day as many crickets as she could, the next a mouse or 2 (depending on her use of such), roaches the next day, until it was used up "Zupreem monitor diet" the next day, and as many quail as she would eat, and back through that cycle. Her preferences changed with foods and she ate chicken peeps for the biggest part of her diet from a few months old up until she was around 6ft long when I started her on large rats as the biggest part of her diet. I was feeding week old chicken peeps (5-10 ounces each) from under a year old on, now its 10-12 or so ounce rats jumbo mice and hissers.
I fed her in her first year daily or almost daily as much as she would eat but not to allow her to get overweight, she stayed long and thin as well crapped almost daily that first year.
Her cages were constantly being outgrown to allow her to use all of the food I fed her.

Actually, I handled her daily but her reaction to that handling was in a positive manner, I limited the handling to a point where she began to get impatient etc then waited until later. My fiancee handled her also daily. She was allowed increased amounts of freedom every time she showed progress and positive behavior to that handing. She comes most times to her name being called and seeks out people for attention, etc.
Now not every monitor will react that way and many not even close, but they are all different.
Yes, she was handled alot.
