I recently noticed that my corn has a couple of protruding scales. This is my first corn, so maybe this is normal. Anyway, the scale directly below the eye on each side (right between the eye and mouth) protrudes- almost like they are swollen. He is going into shed, so maybe the shed will take care of it? I am wondering if I should be worried about anything- maybe a mouth infection? I would include a picture, but I don't own a digital camera. Thanks to anyone who can help!
