I found the eggs Thursday night and since they had been buried in sand for a little while before I found them, they were some what sunken. I candled them and saw pink bulleyes in each and today they each had the pink bullseye but are still really sunken. Both are white but I am worried.

Are these eggs doomed/dead. Is there anything I can do to save them. It seems they would have plumped back out.

Any advice or information is VERY appreciated!!!

Here are the eggs in moss.

Here are the eggs being candled (mag'd).

You can try to plump them back up by placing a damp paper towel on them in very damp vermiculite. You'd be surprised how dented an egg can be and still plump back up and produce a nice healthy baby.
After it plumps up, change the vermiculite back to the normal moisture and incubate as normal.
Hope they are okay!
