some of my tortoise have some kind of a gap between the marginal and coastal scutes all around the body.the scute border does not disapear, but just sunken abit along with a bit of each type of scutes.
so i have a tortoise with a some kind of grove running along the 2 scutes border all round the body.
is this natural or i did not give him enough mineral?will the carapeace correct itself?
thanks
