Female Applegate Pyro..

jeph May 17, 2004 12:58 PM

Hi,
Heres my female. She has a nice orange color to her-(my male seems to be more of a red) but I was planning on breeding her this year, but she hasnt accepted food since brumation-(this pic was taken 3 days ago, you can see she hasnt really lost weight)but hopefully she starts up soon and puts good size on and will just be in great condition for next years breeding. Like I said in the post with the male, I love the head patterns of applegates.

Both snakes are beautiful. The reduced black on the head really makes their eyes stand out. I had two pyros this year that would not eat after coming out of brumation (both males, one is a knob). They just started eating in the last few weeks. There wasn't much weight loss, and they seem fine.

Well Jeff, I am in the same boat with my female although she has eaten several times since coming out of brumation but is at 95 gr. Should be ready and healthy for next year. THANKS for the pic it is a beautiful morph worthy of attention.

Hi troy,
Thanks for the compliments. I hope to see some of the stuff you'll be producing this year. Good luck,
