shedding

lorinda May 17, 2004 03:04 PM

my common snapping turtle sheds his skin all the time. i was wondering if this is normal or not. i was wondering if it was his way of attracting fish to him to eat (i give him feeders) or if it is because he is getting larger. let me know if anyone has any info regarding this.

yea..its perfectly normal...the younger they are, the more they do it b/c of their growth rates.
