Well he it is the first of its kind. I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to produce this animal. I thought tihis would be a good pic to show you the pattern of a normal motley matched with its colorful sibling.

more than made up for the disaapointment you felt last year.Way to go.The Billy Bob teeth trade offer still stands and will throw in the hat with the pony tail.
Chris, what is almost just as exciting to me is to see that Hypo Motley. I have produced 15. 7 out of the 15 were still born, and you can see they are Striped, whacked out and NONE really kept that Motley pattern. NONE looked like that. Also, they didn't have side patterns. I was believing that the Motley got whiped out by the salmon.
HOWEVER, the DH sunglow you used was a true Orange Tail from Jeff Gee to an Albino. When I bred the Albino to the Orange tail, the DH sunglows were Very strong patterned, and didn't have much bowties. I wonder if this is why it was such a stong pattern. The Salmons I used to produce the Salmon Motleys were 1. A possible Dominant Salmon. VERY PRETTY and abberant. That is the litter that lived, (well then the accident), but I did have two that have gone on to produce babies. They were all very whacky. The SECOND FEMALE was a Sister to the Female I used to make the DH sunglows with. HOwever, she was very large, and did have a lot of abberancies. I WONDER if the only way to keep that Motley pattern is to use more CENTRAL GENED Salmons. (orange tails, or whatever). That is what is REALLY exciting.
REGARDLESS CHRIS, You can now say you were the FIRST to produce the ALBINO MOTLEY, and Maybe the SUNGLOW. Breeding should know for sure. TO this you desearve BIG PROPS!!!!!! CONGRATS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. I know you wanted this for a LONG time. Take care, Jeremy
Speaking of the salmon gene vs. the orange tail hypos, I have the opinion that the strongest difference in the two lines is the abberancies produced in the salmon animals. If you look at Mikes salmontines, it seems like he isn't getting the strong argentine influence even with the 75% salmontines, and I think it is because of the salmon gene being used rather than the "standard" orange tail hypos. I think we would see the argentine(motley, squaretail, jungle, any pattern anomoly) patterns stay more apparent using the orange tail hypo line. That however is just my opinion from what I've seen. ANYWAY.....what a litter of motleys!!! Pete let Ralph keep the "freak" boa, since it wasn't technically a snow as agreed upon.....any chance Chris gets the same lucky break if it's a sunglow and not the agreed upon albino???? LOL, just giving you guys a hard time. As Alex pointed out, Chris still has so much to be happy about, I'm sure it will kill him to give up the animal, but he's got future projects out the yang now!!! Best of luck with all those motleys Chris. Take care
Paul

Cool

Here is the story:
I contacted Jeremy about purchasing a motley male from him in 2001. At that time Jeremy did have some motleys that were 50% possible het albino. I asked if I could purchase one of those males, knowing what maybe could be produced down the road. Jeremy was reluctant at first bcause of how valuable the animal could be down the road, but decided that because of our friendship and positive business dealings that it would a good situation. In order for me to obtain the possible het I was to return an albino motley male if one were produced. I agreed to the terms of the transaction and away we went. I received the animal in November of 2001 and just hoped for the best.
On Sunday May 16 the first albino motley was produced from breeding the male to a dh sunglow female (who I purchased from Jeremy in 2000). In that litter was the first white motley. I called Jeremy to let him know and its been a super experience since.
Since their was only one white motley the animal will go into Jeremys collection as per our original agreement. It is kind of bittersweet knowing you have the only one but you have to give it back! I am just happy for everyone involved. I am happy that its here and excitied about the possibilities that will come from this animal.
A big Thank you to Jeremy. He really went out on a limb and sold me a killer animal. He has really helped me along the way......So Jeremy thanks
Thanks to everyone on their kind remarks........keep up the good work
More pics to come after the shed!

Even though you give up the Albino Motley...you STILL have an ADULT proven Het Albino Male Motley, 66% Poss het Albino Motley babies, and a 66% poss DH Sunglow Motley!!!
That Hypo is AMAZING.
To see that it kept the Motley pattern just gets me HOT AND BOTHERED.
MAN I LOVE THIS PORJECT.
Congratulations Chris!!!!

Congratulations Chris!!! Fabulous looking animals...you need a t !! Maybe with your luck you will produce the first t Motley!! So many awesome projects-it is just too much fun!!!
Great cheers to Jeremy who brought this project back from the brink. I think this shows how much effort goes into bringing these projects to fruition-years and years of efforts go into them. Some times it is easy to forget when all are making these fabulous animals, what it took to get the whole thing off the ground. As far as I'm concerned, we are at day one in this boa adventure. I love the excitement generated and we are learning as we go.

What a refreshing story of a shared project with a great result and everyone is happy. I am sure it will be hard to give the white one away but you will always be the first and you do have that screamer hypo Motley with the retained pattern which should be great for future projects.
Congratulations on a spectacular year with 2 truely remarkable litters.
