What exactly is PVCX? I checked it out on the internet but I'm not sure of the hardness of it. Is this something that's used to build entire cages or is it just used for bottoms? Can it be subject to high heat?

How about melamine? Is that the stuff that cheap bookshelves (aka Target) are made of?

Will flexwatt heat through both of these materials?

I'm starting to put together a plan for some enclosures and I'm unclear about a lot of things.
