Question about Animal Plastic Cages

rottenweiler9 May 17, 2004 08:06 PM

I have the 6ft one, and the humidity is always about 70 - 80 percent for my burm any ideas on how to lower that. When I take the water dish out it goes to like 50 percent, any other ideas.

Thanks
Jeff

Why do you want to lower the humidity? that is about the perfect range imo for them. (I kept my burmese pythons in the 60-70% range and they were perfectly healthy) If you still want to lower the humidity my only suggestion would be to drill a row of 1/4" holes along the sides of the enclosure. (I have a 6x2x2 ap enclosure as well and using the light fixture my humidity stays right at the 60% range.)
