he is fine, i have seen people's pixies go down for months then come up with a raging appetite! In captivity, if your breeding your pixie, he will go dwon close to three months, or earlyer whatever the breeder's way is and then either come up or be dug up to be put into a rain chamber. I Do not think you need to worry, but if you want to try and have him come up, really mist your terraium to the point that its really wet and he will think its a rainny season and come up, i'm guessing your tank's substrait is dry, right? I know my pixies pritty well to an extent, but i believe that Andy (snakeguy88) knows alot more, but u can always e-mail me at kich4theanswer@aol.com if you have antquestions or concerns.

thanks...i've read that they'll go under for awhile but reading it and actually going thru it is different i guess...just doesn't seem natural...anyway...thanks for putting my worries to rest

It may not seem natural, but it is. These frogs in their natural habitat may spend merely a few weeks above ground, depending on the rains. Give him some time. When it gets hungry again, the frog will come back up.

The dwarf pixie that I used to have, always burrowed, but the regular pixie that I recently picked up hasn't done anything more than dog in to the point his eyes are still visible.
