I have BTS, semi-aqutic turtle and a tortise. I am planning on building outside cages for the summer. I live in CT so it will be hot enought. I want make one for the skink and another for the turtle and the tortise. I am looking for suggestions. What materials should be used? I need it to be off the ground so I was thinking of a kind of Rabbit hutch. That would definetly need a different type of screen. How do I keep the rain out but not make it too hot? I would appreciate any help or suggestions.

Here is a pic of my cage for my BTS. It is 4 x 6 x 2 ft. I keep him on the patio where he gets morning sun. A little rain won't hurt him, but you don't want him to get soggy either!
