Plastic hinges-WHATS UP

whats up with these plastic cages being made with the BIG plastic hinges on the fronts,they look like crap

I guess it all depends on which manufacturer you are talking about... But I much rather have BIG ones that don't disentegrate and let your snake escape... (hint... rhymes with DECISION)
