Peter Watson

BigJim544 May 18, 2004 03:21 PM

If Pete went awhile without posting any pics on these forums I would always eamil him, Hey Pete post some pics! and he always would! Pete was a great guy and was always there to take a call just to talk or never to busy to answer a eamil, I know I am not the only person that misses him I am sure. I wish he was still here to post some of the great pictures of his awesome animals. If anyone has any picutures they can share it sure would be nice to see some of them! Pete inspired many of us that keep boas, and I am sure he wont be forgotten. Big Jim Pic from Shawns site:

This is a female Peruvian that came from Pete's collection. She is gravid now and due second week in July. I hope she makes Pete proud by producing some killer "Watson" Peruvians.

It sure is not the same without him. I talked a lot with Pete, picking his brain on BCC. His killer pics and animals influenced me into purchasing a pair of BCC in late 98 from Gary Sipperely. Now, 6 years later, is my first attempt to breed BCC. I have over 20 suris, and am hooked as ever. If I get babies this year, it will definitely be bittersweet.

We talked on a daily basis, wether it be snakes, lifting, or family. What a great person he was.

This isn't my picture so I hope that I don't upset anyone because I'm posting it. I just wanted to share the "green chairs" as well.

Sorry. Hope that's not too insensitive. Just curious why he's not around anymore.

Seems like just yesterday I sat here in amazement as Pete sent me pictures of his animals.. then of course I had to buy some of my own.. then the unthinkable happened.

I have left the tribute to Pete on my page because I do not want to forget just how fast things can change, as well as if anyone else is interested in viewing his animals, him or his classroom there is a place that is holding those pictures.

I hope the babies produced from his animals somehow help carry his name with them. I understand they are not new morphs etc.. just an idea. At least called Peter Watson Stock would be nice.

You can see additional pictures from our site....

Well Pete your pics are still being posted! I know there are many more people out there that cared allot about Peter, I look forward to seeing some exceptional babies one day from the animals he kept and now are in good hands like Dan M and others. Thanks to all that took the time to show pics and comment about our friend Peter Watson. It goes to show you- One man can make a difference. Jim

I never knew pete outside of this forum, and from what i remember he proved to be the biggest information, REAL information asset the site has seen.

This is a guyana i was lucky enough to get from his collection after his passing... unfortunatley it passed for no aparent reason 2 weeks after I recieved him from Bill Parks.

To bad to, he was something else.
