Hi,
Ball Pythons are terrestrial snakes so there is no need to a a five foot tall cage. Depanding on the type of cage it is, you could lie it on it's side and you would have a good cage for a ball python. The more hides you have, the better. They would share the same hide, but it is best to offer at least on hide per animal, just in case they do not get along. There is no real need for two saok tubs and it would double the amount of cleaning. I would suggest just one large soaking tub. Josh

You would be surprised given the chance how much time a terrestrial snake will spend in a "arboreal" area if given the chance.

It's usually not a good idea to keep two snakes in one enclosure. Go to the Ball Python forum and search on that.

Upside down clay flower-pot bases with a chunk knocked out so they can get inside are fine hides for a BP. They're burrowing snakes, not climbers.
