A couple of hours ago my son comes home very excitedly to tell me there is a turtle digging a nest in the middle of a yard on the next block. I went to investigate and saw it was...I guess some sort of slider (I live in Stn. Mtn.Ga). We all watched the turtle lay 10 eggs and cover the nest back up.
The boy who lived at the hoouse wants to protect the nest and help the babies when/if they hatch.
Question...when should we expect the eggs to hatch if everything goes right? The turtle is green with yellow stripes on her neck...no red.
