feeding butterworms

lele May 18, 2004 06:36 PM

how do you guys feed your butterworms to your chams? I find they either crawl out of a cup or get all tangled in each other's silk and they don't hang on to the screen like silkies.

Luna likes them but I have to stand there with my hand or a long wooden spoon (when she thinks she should be afraid of me - LOL!) plus I am then taking them in and out of fridge all the time.

Any tips??

will they stick to leaves or branches near luna?
why cant you let them crawl on the outside of the cup and have luna get them?
