Nick in babies tail

dmlove May 18, 2004 09:02 PM

I checked in my babies cage, and i found a baby, one of my biggest one, that has a nick in his tail. Thank goodness he is a holdback, this is the first damage to the 3 week old babies. Any suggestions on how to treat it, or just leave it be and see? Thanks

Put Neosporin on it to prevent infection. You can also use peroxide or both.

I would keep it on clean paper towels if not already doing so and put a little neosporin on it. Keep it clean. It will heal on its own hopefully. Should see a improvment with the next shed.
