Ficus Tree

I bought a pesticide free ficus tree on Saturday and my veiled keeps going down to the pot and eating the soil is that bad?

this is an easy fix. just put a layer of rocks inside the pot around the plant.

and make sure there are no fertilizers pieces in the soil...

. . . and make sure you use pretty big rocks, of course. Don't want your cham devouring a ton of pea gravel.

I learned the hard way about rocks when one of my Chams fell and broke his back. Instead of rocks I would remove some of the potting soil off the top and replace it with Bed-A-Beast. This stuff is made of ground coconut so if he eats it, it won't harm him and it makes for a much softer landing
