Vision cages?

savvgawd May 18, 2004 11:20 PM

Im just now ordering a new cage for my BTM plus savvy. Is there a vision cage or better one big enough to house a blackthroat for the rest of his time?

I am a little familiar with Vision Cages, and while I am not sure if they have an 8-footer, which I would think you would need to consider for a BTM "for the rest of his time" the thing I don't like about these cages is that they don't allow for deep enough substrate.

I much prefer something that opens from the top, and for an adult BTM I would want to have at least a foot of substrate (I give my dwarf monitors 9-12" ) and preferably more than a foot. With Visions the substrate ends up in the tracks and makes the doors difficult to operate.

Good Luck,

I have found it cheaper though not easier to build my inclosures.
I can build it as big as it needs to be and how and where I want it.
My young blackthroat is currently living in a cage I built for ackies I don't have yet. (3 X 7 X 3 deep) I am redoing a walk in closet (13 X 13)for his future home.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
