I have had my mangrove hatchling for almost 2 weeks now. I have only seen him eat a spider in that period of time. I have given him everything from spiders, grasshoppers, skinks and a few geckos. I have also given him things like ground turkey, cat food, and diced up raw shrimp. I don't think he is eating it either. And crickets are not available where I live (no one sells them and they are hard to find). Does anyone have any tips on what my monitor would like to eat.
Is it normal for hatchlings to not want to eat anything that is not alive. Also can a hatchling go for 2 weeks without eating. I am hoping he is eating something but I only actaully saw him that one time.
