Very cool! Was it hard getting them to breed? I was going to get some a while back, but everyone I spoke to told me how hard(in their words,"Impossible"
is was at breeding them. Was it really all that bad? If I spread to this species, what sort of tricks would be best suited for any breeding attempts? Did you use "traditional" cycling, or photocycling, like I used to breed my redtail green ratsnakes, Gonyosoma oxcephala?

Honestly, for me it was very easy. Last year they were cooled down for about three months, the usual stuff. This year, I didn't do anything. No cooling or anything. I just put them together, and they just got to it pretty quick, and that's all there was too it.
I might just be very lucky with my hogs, cause I've heard many people saying they're picky eaters and hard to breed, and I've never had a problem with either. Even my hatchling started eating frozen thawed the first week after he hatched. I love these snakes.
Well, a vote of confidence. Very cool indeed. I may just have to go ahead and try to my hand at them. If nothing, I'm always up for a challenge!
