Hi!

I would like to start a discussion on the topic that may be interesting for kingsnake lovers also (not only milks) - morphs.
Please read this topic and post any comments you may have:

Hi,
All snakes that have black bands are much lighter looking towards the ventral scales and especially on the ventral. But you can clearly see the head colors are your regular black, same with all the other bands on him. Bummer though, I keep hoping a hypo sinaloan/nelsoni will pop up, but I dont think its this one. Thanks for the pics though, I saw your first post about and was hoping a pic with a hypo sinaloan would be posted soon.

Hi!

Thanks for your reply.
I will try to make better pics of the head - it doesn't look pure black to me.
But off course - it may not be a hypo and I know about this.
That's why I would like to start some discussion about this.
I have got this snake yesterday at night - this are the only pictures I made at this moment.

I will try to do some better ones.

Thanks again for your comment - it is really important for me.
Best regards
Lukasz

Hi,
Well you seeing it in person has the best look at it. Pics can be difficult sometimes to see the real affect a snake has. Especially with hypos and amels, sometimes the flash will wash out amels, and hypos can look darker than they are in pics too. Looking forward to more pics though. Good luck with it,
Jeff Teel
